Terms
The terms of using CreativePower: your account, subscriptions and the generation allowance.
Who these terms are between
These terms are between you and the operator of CreativePower at creativepower.ai. CreativePower is operated by Greg White, an individual — there is no company. Postal address: [To fill in before launch: postal address]. Support email: [To fill in before launch: support email].
[Decision 14: who may use CreativePower — minimum age, and whether consumers, businesses or both]
Your account
You sign in with an email address and password, or with Google. Keep your password to yourself; what is done with your account is your responsibility.
Subscriptions
- Generating pages and using the imported library need an active subscription. There are two plans, monthly and annual: $29 per month or $290 per year, in US dollars, as shown on the pricing page. A promotion code may be entered at checkout.
- Payment is taken by Stripe. A subscription renews at the end of each period until it is cancelled.
- While you are subscribed, you manage your plan, card and cancellation in the billing portal, reached from the pricing page or your settings.
- Your access lasts while your subscription is active and its current period has not ended. If a payment fails, access stops. [Decision 9: whether to allow a grace period after a failed payment, and how a customer fixes it]
- If we cannot check your subscription at the moment you ask — a fault on our side or Stripe's — nothing is generated and the library stays closed until we can. We never guess in either direction.
- [Decision 18: how much notice you get before a price change]
Your own API key
A subscriber may add their own Anthropic API key in Settings. It is stored encrypted, used only to run your own generations, and can be removed at any time. A generation that runs on your own key is paid for by you to Anthropic, on Anthropic's terms, and does not count against the daily limit below.
The generation allowance
There is a per-user daily limit on how many pages you can generate; the app tells you your usage when you reach it. A generation counts when it starts, so one that fails part-way still counts, because the AI service charges for the work it did before failing. The current period is the calendar day in UTC, resetting at 00:00 UTC. [Decision 16: whether to state the number, and whether the period stays daily] [Decision 17: whether a failed generation should keep counting]
What you may do with what you make
What you may do with generated pages and library items — and the licence notices you must keep — is set out on the licence page, which is part of these terms.
[Decision 15: what you may not use CreativePower to make]
The service
Pages are written by an AI model, so what it produces is AI-generated output: it can be wrong, can resemble other work by chance, and should be checked before you rely on it or publish it. Library items and other third-party material carry their own licences and credits, which stay with them and are listed on the credits page. [Decision 13: what we promise about the service and its output, and the limit of our liability]
[Decision 12: how quickly we answer support requests]
Cancelling and refunds
You can cancel at any time in the billing portal and keep access to the end of the period you have paid for. The full cancellation and refund terms are on the refund page, which is part of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States.
