Five charges orbit the frame on independent tracks, each adding an inverse-square contribution to one shared scalar field. Thresholding the sum rather than drawing each blob separately is the whole trick: where two charges approach, their fields add and the surface bulges out to meet, so blobs merge and separate with real surface tension instead of simply overlapping. Body colour drifts amber to lime on a slow sine, with a brighter lime core where the field runs hottest.
