Halftone drift
SubscriptionEditorial dot-screen over a moving gradient — print-grade texture.
A vertical gradient, perturbed by a sine along x and a slow noise term, sets the target dot radius for each cell of a 40x40 lattice. Every cell then draws a single antialiased dot at that radius, so tone is carried by dot SIZE rather than opacity — which is precisely how a print halftone works, and why the texture stays crisp at any zoom instead of dissolving into blur. Amber through lime on near-black. The most editorial, least sci-fi pattern in the batch; good where a shader needs to feel like art direction.
