Orbit rings
SubscriptionFive concentric rings carrying three to sixteen bodies, alternating direction.
Five rings at fixed radii each carry a different population — three bodies on the innermost, sixteen on the outermost — and each turns at its own rate, with alternate rings running retrograde. Because the counts and the rates are both coprime-ish, the pattern never visibly repeats inside a normal dwell. Every ring is drawn as a faint guide circle first so the geometry reads even where a body is not currently sitting, and a soft radial glow at the centre gives the system a source. A single bright core marks the focus.
